The collaboration sees Swiss-based Stuart McCune, celebrated for avant-garde releases referencing abstract art, join forces with percussionist Caesar Oetterli to generate a dynamic interplay between live drums and sonic manipulation. Caesar Oetterli contributed striking drum performances, while S. McCune handled all instruments and electronics, infusing the tracks with his signature approach to noise and abstraction. The duo wrote and mixed the album over several months, ensuring a cohesive yet constantly shifting soundscape that rewards close listening.
