*2023 stock. 200 copies limited edition* The recordings were made during January 16th to February 27th, 2022. Recording gear included a cassette tape recorder, a cardioid dynamic microphone and a cassette tape. After some operations, the recorder’s eraser function was temporarily removed so that the sound could be recorded overlapping again and again.

During these days, Zhao Cong and Zhu Wenbo did recordings every day. Every time they chose a random place on tape and recorded a very short length, from a few seconds to one minute around, closing or keeping some distance to the sound source. They recorded separately using the same tape. Only on the last day they made two long recordings: one was cleaning up the room and the other was making bread.

What would the tape sound like? Would the materials match each other well? Would it be too quiet or too loud, or totally not be picked-up on microphone? Everything was unknown during this recording process. But now the final results are placed on CD here. No editing has been made on them.
