Paradoxal Innovations
Philatélie proudly unveils Paradoxal Innovations, the groundbreaking new double cassette release by visionary artist Uton, the enigmatic Finnish producer known for his immersive sonic exploration.
Liskoaivo/Alkeis
In Finnish language Alkeis is not exactly a full word, but functions more like a prefix, meaning rudimentary or primitive. It communicates well the habitus of the crude oscillations that are inspected here: the smallest possible, single-cell organism devoid of thought, driven by instinct. Liskoaivo is a finnish word for "lizard brain", the region of the brain that regulates our primitive reactions. As sophisticated as oscillators and modular synthesis might be, at the core lies an unexplainable u…
Maja
Philatélie is thrilled to announce the release of Maja, the latest album from the experimental noise project Circle of Shit.
Light Sensitive Materials
Sapphire Goss is an artist based in the UK. She uses obsolete and expired materials to create an “analogue uncanny” where light, time and materials come together in unexpected ways.

Syrena:re
Syrena:re is a concept programme by Ania Karpowicz and Dominik Strycharski for two flutists and tape. It reinvents and recycles musical motifs released on vinyl by the iconic Syrena Rekord label in pre-war Warsaw. The tape features poignant voices of synagogue cantors, fragments of popular songs, and blended sounds of the Shmul Weinberg orchestra. By using extended techniques and a variety of flutes representing diverse timbres, the artists combine the work of memory with unconstrained improvisa…
UnXpKtD
Tip! *100 copies limited edition* redacted. incomplete narratives. non sense. but. working with what i have. walkmans. tapes. dictaphones. Green's electronic work of recent years focussing on defective analogue technology simultaneously broadens and refines with UnXpKtD; his first definitive electronic noise outing incorporating a pair of dictaphones in various states of disrepair. The music is chaotic yet concise, disorientating yet focussed; UnXpKtD is an intensely abstract and personal sonic …
Bidule 2.0
On Bidule 2.0, eRikm tunnels into a cache of unheard Pierre Henry tapes, feeding analog “sound objects” from 1950–1974 through his custom digital apparatus to forge a dense, flickering work where early musique concrète and present‑tense signal processing fold into one another.
Cassette Album
*2026 stock* "Magnetic Tape is able to record, store and playback audio recordings. It enables repetition and the capturing of time in a sonic shape. It frees listening from the confines of chronology and thus of history and creates a sonic pluriverse where everything can be played at once, again and again sounding between the familiar and the unfamiliar the particular darkness of the human heart and the peculiar density which surrounds everything that is real. Thus giving access to time’s plast…
Colonial Vipers
On Colonial Vipers, various artists from the Dutch Trumpett orbit condense the 1982 home‑taping surge into 13 rare tracks of minimal synth, DIY cold wave and concrete industrial atmospherics, finally transferred from cassette obscurity to heavyweight vinyl.
Improvised Music
Mail collaboration for electronics, violin, and audio letters.
Fragmenter 2020/23
Ghostly industrial from One of my favorite local projects. 60 minutes of warm and dreamlike tape music. This recording is for me a perfect example of how music for magnetic tape can feel as organic as the vibrations of a string or the humming of a voice, when utilizing the flaws and unpredictability of tapes and tape machines.
Drilling a hole without realizing its consequences
Beautiful bedroom noise from Malmø, Carrying the Swedish tape noise torch forward. Stripped down and restrained, but with a lot of depth to be found in the textures. Philip, who is behind the project also does the amazing label Sinkhole Editions.
Country dreng country hund
One hour of exquisite microcassette manipulation from a great friend of the label. A free flowing audio diary documenting daily routines and primitive audio experiments. Some of the best tape murk to be produced on danish soil for many years.

Leviathan Whispers
On Leviathan Whispers, Tim Hill shapes saxophones, tape loops and treated field sound into slow-burning rites of longing and delirium, a spectral song-cycle where folk memory, Blakean vision and drone minimalism coil around each other in restless, darkly luminous orbit.
Triple Cool Hang
On Triple Cool Hang, Family Underground turn two decades of haze into a single spool of time, threading freezing‑church jams, Brooklyn collaborations, and after‑hours Copenhagen séances into deep, slow‑burning cuts that hum with tape hiss and lived‑in drone.
HÖH
Winterly tape loops from the finnish master. Morose textures, mesmerizing hiss.
