Christoph Schiller

Christoph Schiller is a spinet player and improviser who lives in Weil am Rhein, in southern Germany, and works from a studio just across the Swiss border in Basel. He studied fine art before turning to music. On the spinet he plays baroque and contemporary repertoire as well as freely improvised music, and much of his work comes from improvisation with other players. Schiller organises the Atelierkonzert series, a run of concerts held in his Basel workshop. His playing partners have included Magnus Granberg, Birgit Ulher, Anna-Kaisa Meklin, Rhodri Davies and Sebastian Lexer.
