Kleistwahr

Kleistwahr is the solo project of Gary Mundy, who founded the group Ramleh and the UK label Broken Flag in 1982. Mundy started Kleistwahr as an invented group whose releases would help establish the young label. The early recordings were raw and noisy, and the project later moved toward sparser, manipulated sound and looped collage. Between 1982 and 1986 Kleistwahr issued four cassette albums on Broken Flag: Myth, Arsonicide, Mobility and Do Not. Fourth Dimension Records later collected them, with two compilation tracks, on the double CD Don't Let Go.
