Naga Mountain
** Edition of 200 copies.** Lasse Marhaug and Jon Wesseltoft have collaborated in a variety of projects over the years, but started the Tongues of Mount Meru duo back in 2008 as a collaboration to pursue their shared interest in sustained and closely calibrated sounds, and the phenomenological impact they have on the act of listening. They started recording a session each year from 2008 to 2011 in Oslo utilising harmoniums, organs, shruti boxes, oscillators, and computers and accumulated a large…
The Citadel Of Evil
After Kobold, another half-human dungeon-synther took its place in HDK catalog: here's the barbaric... Gnoll! Beware the powerful percussions, the blows of icy and sharp sounds, the brutal attack of analog synthesizers! This first release of Gnoll is the the soundtrack of an epic descent into a dungeon populated by weird creatures and unfathomable threats. Gnoll is devoted to the visionary and bloodthirsty 70's heroic-fantasy literature, overflowing with baroque magic and arcane mystery, to Lin …
Incanto
*300 copies limited edition* Another collection of music that, instead of offering an escape route, loads you with questions. Music that originates in a grey, intermediate zone: pieces conceived and performed by an informal group of musicians which were not written. They are improvised but, instead of existing only in their own time, they are rooted in deep interpersonal relationships. A perfect balance between freedom and rigour, between visions and penumbra, between long and complex relationsh…
Spurious Correlations
Limited edition of 200 copies.* "In statistics, a ‘spurious correlation’ is a mathematical relationship in which two or more events or variables are associated but not causally related, due to either coincidence or the presence of a certain third, unseen, factor. Spurious correlations look like causal relationships in both their statistical measures and in graphs, but they're not real."
L'Alchimista
Limited edition of 200 copies.* "L'Alchimista" consists of the recordings taken during a live performance made especially on occasion of the vernissage for the exhibition of the same name curated by Alessandra Guttagliere at Cave Contemporary in Grottaglie. In the wake of his latest published works, Fabio Orsi composed and played a series of pieces that enhance the more cinematic aspect of his music. The sounds on this work have an ever-increasingly timeless quality, with no more boundaries for …
TO/OT
*200 copies limited edition* With the present "TO/OT", the duo comprising Orsi and TeZ (Clock Dva) continue in a straight line along the 'furrow' already traced with the previous "OT/TO", inverting the 'position' of the roles in the control room compared to it. Electronic patterns and programmed rhythmic parts make up these load-bearing plots that describe a synthetic universe adjacent to the one traversed by the first cosmic couriers, where filters emphasise the progressions, and soft and evoca…
First Flight
*Limited Edition* This Japanese trio session from the 70s is precisely the kind of record that has us exploring this era so fervently. Filled with warm, soulful sounds, inventive changes, and engaging rhythms, the album maintains a subtle funk undercurrent without overpowering the best lyrical lines of pianist Kichiro Sugino. The trio, featuring Kishio Kitahara on bass and Mitsaki Katayama on drums, is perfectly synchronized, soaring elegantly throughout the record, living up to the "flight" in …
Nella Basilica
Roberto Fabbriciani, bass flutes. Robin Hayward, microtonal tuba. 'This is the first CD of improvised music featuring Roberto Fabbriciani, one of the giants of contemporary music. Fabbriciani was the instrumentalist with whom Luigi Nono worked most closely in the last two decades of his life, playing in the premieres of virtually all of the composer's late works. On nella basilica Fabbriciani improvises with Robin Hayward, the phenomenal Berlin-based tuba player with whom he has worked on …
Thread
'We all met in Berlin at different times. Anthea and I had been playing as a duo since about 2006. Anthea also developed a performance/installation project with Annette I think around 2008. About a year later, I organised a house concert and we decided to play as a trio, which seemed very organic and easy immediately. We recorded parts of the album shortly after that. [] There was not much editing involved in either of the recordings, just minor changes. As for the general style - we act…
How Lonely Sits The City?
Great new piece from the Swedish composer, working as fruitfully as ever with his ensemble Skogen. Mysterious, dream-like and melancholic. Another gem.
In The Name of Psychic Expansion

Odd Doubt / Johnny Leech
Edition of 150 copies. Granny13 opens with Nicola Ratti's 'Odd Doubt'. With the use of a modular system and tape loops, a broken rhythm is obtained by parallelism between single sound signals as LFO one or processed tapes. On the second side, Giovanni Lami's 'Johnny Leech' is made with a small bunch of equipment, just a chaotic hand-made synth (cacophonator) and a memoryman, working mainly on static electricity and leakage current in the synth used without any kind of power supply.
Sick / Cunt
7" EP. Primitive Calculators release their first new studio efforts since 1979. Thirty-three years after their classic first single I Can't Stop It, Melbourne's hilarious synth-punk snarlers are working on a new studio album to be released in 2013. They reformed in 2009 at the invitation of the Nick Cave-curated All Tomorrow's Parties festival. For many years, Primitive Calculators’ sizeable legend thrived on their self-released 1979 single, a posthumous live album released in the early 80s, and…
Hearts
Second single from Pigeons following a debut 7" on Soft Abuse and LP's on Black Dirt and OESB. Features two songs -- 'The Paradise' and 'Radio Souvenir' both recorded 2009 in The Bronx. Produced by Tooth at Reggaetown Deluxe Studios.
Ex Tempo Ra
Andrew Pekler makes his first recorded appearance since 'Sentimental Favourites' for Dekorder with these two dippy radiophonic charms for Plant Migration. Much like his sometime bandmate in Groupshow, Jan Jelinek, your Berlin-based protagonist has a canny knack for making the cutest modular melodies, as evidenced on the flowering bleeps and dusted machine pulses of 'Ex Tempo Ra'. Whereas 'Encounter In The Resonant Void' is more isolated, spacewise, drifting out on sparse, trickling martian melod…
Max Brown, Pt. 1
Tortoise mainman Jeff Parker throws down the lissom, balmy jazz-fusion of ‘Max Brown’, the final track of his ‘Suite For Max Brown’ album as a tease for the promising full LP  “I’m always looking for ways to be surprised,” says composer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Parker as he explains the process, and the thinking, behind his new album, Suite for Max Brown, released via a new partnership between the Chicago–based label International Anthem and Nonesuch Records. “If I sit down at the piano or…
Neue Welt / Lenity
After the release of his debut album in June 2015, Le Millipede is back with a 7" single with "Neue Welt" and "Lenity". The newcomer to the A-Z of instruments of Le Millipede is the clarinet. Together with Le Millipede's characteristic percussion, it sets the basic structure of "Neue Welt". Two melodies of piano and bass trumpet join in to a euphoric, dreamy tune, only to be shaken up profoundly - or should we say challenged? - by the second debuting instrument, a ukulele. Lenity is melanch…
El Sonido de Joan Lluis Moraleda (7 E.P.)
**450 copies numbered and signed. Includes a diptych (4 pages) and two postcards.** The EP you have in your hands belongs to the time that the Catalan composer Joan Lluís Moraleda spent in Estudios Carbonell in the mid 70s, with amazing songs made of magic string arrangements, pedal fuzz and awesome synthesizers and moog. You can feel the influence of disco music and even the Spaghetti western soundtracks. Joan Lluís Moraleda was born in Santa Maria de Palautordera (Barcelona) in 1943. At 12,…
Percussion Loops
"On this record, Mads Emil Nielsen divvies up two sides of 7” with a healthy ratio of two to two drum loops, each offering a smattering of ricocheting, crackling and structureless percussion, occasionally abetted with a bit of the ol’ synth additive. As far as comparative pointers go, what comes to mind first is Nicolas Jaar’s construction site ambient record ‘Pomegranates’, which used drums to punctuate long, meandering trails of drone or textural excess. Here, though, Nielsen’s compositions sta…
Synapse / Oxytocin
Synapse is the first single off (and a sort of appendix before the fact to) Autorhythm's project Songs For The Nervous System that culminates in an album later this spring. It has a driving and asymmetric “Can meets John Bender”-like quality paired with a warm soundscape reminiscent of Cluster's Zuckerseit. The ambient B side Oxytocin features a recording of a Soviet era Ocean 209 transistor radio that adds to the ethereal other worldly dimension of this beautifully languid neo-Kosmische gem. Ex…
