*151 copies limited edition* Preface:"Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them. Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you... Rejoyce and leap for joy, since your reward is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to you."(Taken from the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 5, verses 10, 11 and 12).

Bolide is an electro-acoustic improvising unit, formed in Brighton, UK, in 2007. Originally coming together under the name Bolide Awkwardstra, the group's inaugural performance was at the Colour Out of Space festival in 2007, followed by a show in a local park playing a soundtrack to an infants' football match. Ever since, Bolide have oscillated between these giddy poles. Somewhere along the way, it was decided that awkwardness and sketchy puns should no longer be a barrier to progress.
"Dwell Time II, the second installment in a trilogy of tape loop experiments from T.R. Jordan, begins fittingly with “Dynamics”, as a grainy, fluttering howl opens into voluminous spatial tones, while dulcet synthesizers swell between the stereo channels with melancholy, crystalline sweetness. Guiding his delicate world of sound through various technical and tactile manipulations, Jordan unearths sounds and textures that are otherwise not found in a natural state. Part of the fascination in work…

75 Dollar Bill – Cassette
As far as I can tell, our first cassette, originally released in 2013, was assembled from live recordings from the Manhattan Inn, the Greenpoint restaurant bar (part owned by my childhood friend Rolyn Hu) where we had our first show, and practice recordings from Rick and Sue’s old studio in the Pencil Factory Building. L…

Stephen Conford is a media artist who works primarily by re-engineering consumer electronics into expressive and reflexive devices as a means of critiquing the ideologies they embody. "A state of enclosure” was recorded May 2020 for Amplify 2020: quarantine. “A finite number of rooms” was recorded June 2020 for the ‘Building A Better Reality’ Black Lives Matter benefit compilation on JMY Music. Both are loosely based pages from ‘A Score for Piano’ written by Sarah Hughes in 2010. “After their de…
Tip! *2nd limited edition* During the summer of 2021, Delphine was invited for a residency at the church of St Saphorin (Switzerland), on the occasion of the Jolie Vue Festival. Having the opportunity to fully explore the organ the days before the actual festival, Delphine improvised a long, long series of tracks, of which you’ll find a small selection on ‘hymnes apophatiques’.
She’s definitely full of respect for the organ, at some moments diving deep in the sound traditionally associated with …
*2024 stock* Ambient music according to Brian Eno, the non-musician who made it a genre of its own, before and better than so many boring epigones. As many as 15 tracks are on the CD, with some rarities and collaborations by Daniel Lanois, Jah Wobble and others.
Rain, ghosts, one dog and empty woodland is the first solo album by the musician Gianmaria Aprile, which comes after many productions in the world of a certain frontier rock, close to psychedelia, ambient, noise, jazz and its drifts. The first record where Gianmaria Aprile has no other musicians as travel companions, but only the sound of the two instruments he brought together: the guitar and the guqin. It’s a story of ghosts and long walks in the woods under the rain, in the company of a black…
*In process of stocking* Songs and Poems is a project born from the necessity to explore, in a chamber dimension, the possibilities of the sound of the word. The quartet joins Blend 3 - the trio of Andrea Grossi with Manuel Caliumi and Michele Bonifati - to the voice of Beatrice Arrigoni and finds its personal dimension within a sound world generated by the fusion of 20th century European traditions, starting from improvised music and European jazz, passing through contemporary music until arriv…
Blend 3 is an organism made up of three different but similar personalities. The group explores the diverse sonorities of a trio that, without a predetermined set, utilizes composition and improvisation as its only resources. By means of this combination of composition and improvisation, what is already written is proposed in an original and revisited way time after time. Concurrently, improvisation as an actual practice rather than as a genre is developed with a deep compositional function. Ble…
*100 copies limited edition* This solo could have been titled "16 Caprices for cello.” As in Paganini's Caprices, all the techniques and virtuosity of the classical tradition are used here, expanded and enriched by the sounds and research of the contemporary one. However, the approach to the instrument is physical and bodily characteristic of European free improvisation and jazz. But as in Tristan Honsinger, Leroy Jenkins or in Cage's Freeman Etudes for violin the focus is always The Music, whos…
Axes and layers, but also the axes, for striking and cutting. This work embraces the muscular energy of avant-jazz and delicate and dreamlike introspection. The musical references are to the America of Tim Berne and the Europe of Marc Ducret - the polyphony and rhythmic pulse of the urban environment. But the connections, even if not strictly musical, reach far; "Axis: Bold as Love" by Jimi Hendrix and "AlasNoAxis", Jim Black's debut album. More than one axis: axes.

*2022 stock. In process of stocking. 200 limited edition* “On a day such as this,” David Thomas once sang, “insist on more than the truth.” “Day Such as This,” from Pere Ubu’s Song of the Bailing Man, is an elaborate studio concoction in celebration of hyperbole. Jeremiah Cymerman has never signaled any great appreciation for Pere Ubu, but that song nonetheless proposes a way to describe what he does on Decay of the Angel.
The album is the outcome of years of solo clarinet concerts, some in his…
The ubiquity of Coxhill’s sax lines are here answered, cherished, enhanced by the excellent guitar touch of Enzo Rocco. It’s a sort of subtle anarchic dance, intriguing and true.
