Dagger in the Road
Another chapter of the drone odissey by our Danish favorites releasing two side-long tracks of black magic. Side A was previuosly released on a limited tour-tape by their own label Into the Lunar Light and sounds like the musical score of a horror film sang by a gathering of hungy wolves in a windy cave. On side B the drone assoult ceases and is replaced by reverbing guitars, obsessive synth melodies and echoed vocals building a psychedelic atmosphere. Released in occasion of their Italian…
German reggae
Teenage Panzerkorps have been playing during these last ten years their unique and special kraut-punk that continues the musical tradition of Neu! and Kraftwerk. They have already produced two lps and lots of eps and singles that offer us lots of interesting songs to hear.“German Reggae”, Panzerkorps’ new effort, is, in my opinion, their best album so far. This album is full of early post-punk rhythms and krautrock melodies. It reminds me of the genre’s most notable bands such as Savage Republic…
Hunger
A twenty-minute concept by the dark ambient maestro inspired by Haitian Voodoo as portrayed in Maya Deren's Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti. Growling vocals sounding like they came from the heart of a cave soaked in a creepy atmosphere slowly turn into a sinister melody influenced by dark disco. Limited edition of three-hundred copies with a frame from the movie screened on the blank side. 300 copies, one-sided silkscreened black vinyl Artwork by Nico Vascellari
Tropico
Spectacular Release! An interior journey merging the sound of what used to be a noise-funk duo into a new psychedelic dimension filled with tribal choruses, afro beats and sitar echoes. A neverending groovy crescendo leading back and forth from the frantic moments of their previous works to this new realm of free vibes.
Split
Introducing In Zaire, the improvised live performance of Claudio Rocchetti, Alessandro De Zan (G.I. Joe, Orfanado) and Riccardo Biondetti (G.I. Joe). They mix dub-funk rhythms, tribal percussions, indian and electric bass guitar melodies, arabic and psychedelic voices and minimal-introspective electronic sounds.  On the flip, leading the way, The Skull Defekts. Given the band members pedigree (drummer Henrik Rylander was a co-founder of Union Carbide Productions, guitarist Joachim Nordwall was a…
Radian lines
Wet Hair heads Shawn Reed and Ryan Garbes have been jamming sideways strains of long-lensed electricity music for years now, but their trajectories as visual artists arc back even farther. So after a small infinity of J-cards and zines and LP sleeves designs, it’s a real pleasure to finally be able to present a preferential suite of some of their finest (and, till now, unseen) compositions in a glossy, full-color, pro-printed 22-panel art volume, bookended by a brand new black vinyl 33 RPM singl…
Whip And The Body
A recent Brooklyn noise creature that has decided to rear it's malformed head onto the Dais roster. Crushing, harsh power electronic for fans of early Whitehouse, Grey Wolves, Ramleh, etc…
391 | Selezione 2
With the 391 project, Spittle shed light on the most recondite and peculiar realities of the italian underground. The Belpaese illustrated in imaginative regional postcards, with all the legacies of off culture: the do-it yourself ethos and the local gestation of phenomena from across the Channel - above all - such as new wave, post-punk and electronic nouvelle vague. Phenomenal little contributions collected on the periphery of the New World, with future stars of the alternative scene to come a…
In The Blink Of An Eye
C S Yeh was born in Taipei, Taiwan, repped Cincinnati for many many years and is now based in Brooklyn, New York. Musically, Yeh is monolithically active both as a solo artist and improviser as well as with Burning Star Core. He has made seemingly hundreds of recordings, and we've yet to find one rotten egg in the basket. Yeh has collaborated with an insanely varied list of people. If we were to actually drop these names, you'd be impressed / confused. But you have NOT heard the result of him wr…
Falling Apart
The Way of the Samurai is found in death. Meditation on inevitable death should be performed daily. Every day when one's body and mind are at peace, one should meditate upon being ripped apart by arrows, rifles, spears and swords, being carried away by surging waves, being thrown into the midst of a great fire, being struck by lightning, being shaken to death by a great earthquake, falling from thousand-foot cliffs, dying of disease or committing seppuku at the death of one's master. And every d…
Canciones de Cadaques
Canciones de Cadaques is a musical collaboration between Dieter Roth and Richard Hamilton that was originally published by Hansjörg Mayer in 1976. It takes the form of a double 45 record and features the two artists alternately performing on vocals and guitar, with assistance from a Cadaqués dog named Chispas Luis, who periodically takes over vocal duties with a particularly sharp bark. This facsimile editions reproduces the original’s gatefold design, and features eight color photographs of the…
Concredrones
We at Korm Plastics safely assume that M.B., also known as Maurizio Bianchi doesn't need much introduction. In the early 80s he was responsible for a string of compelling electronic music albums in the first wave of Ôindustrial music'. After a hiatus of many years he returned in the late 90s and since then has been very active with many new solo releases, but also on the side with collaborations. Here he works with Mario Costa, also known as Sostrah Tinnitus, from Italy, who has had a number of …
I/D/V 01 [TURNTABLES]
A series of 7” records of 1 minute tracks and lock grooves. Focus of each volume is on one particular instrument and on the ways in which invited artists address the specifics of duration as defined by the given format. Duration here is not considered as a mere quantity of time, but as the subjective relations that we establish within time’s dimension. Twelve participants to the first two releases contribute one minute-long track and two locked grooves (of 1.8 seconds at 33.1/3 rpm). Each record…

Sunburst Lux
Both compositions on that record related to (more or less) to the “tape music”. The piece of Argentinian experimental master Anla Courtis is solely based on manipulated sounds of geyzers, recorded in South America. Ukrainian Edward Sol works with weird cassette loops, lo-fi oscillations and some primitive tones from his vintage USSR-made analogue synth Polyvox. Generally speaking, the sound of this record belongs to the monolith dark drone music.
Location stories
Janek Schaefer has gained a reputation when it comes to fieldrecording-based soundworks. Using his sonic surroundings, manipulated or not, Schaefer comes up with unique and intimate results. location stories is another collection of found-sound stories, that Stichting Mixer is proud of to release. A: Minneapolis Office Max Messages. A collage of the messages I found left on the display model of a mini digital dictaphone bought at a Branch of Office Max in Minneapolis. In a condensed period of ti…
Pietra e Oggetto
A sparse and subtle jungle comprises the pieces that make up "Pietra e Oggetto". It is subtle, as such it remains in the memory. Thanks to the device of silence, which is like the air in between things, it allows time for what we have heard to imprint on our acoustic sketchpad. Like closing your eyes to preserve a memory and then moving on to the next. We feel a certain privilege in listening to these undecidable environments; these composite and hybrid objects filled with synthetic biodiversity…
Denizaltı Rüzgarları / Dokuz Sekiz
Percussionist and composer Okay Temiz scored two underground hits in his native Turkey with “Denizaltı Rüzgarları” (translation: “Submarine Winds”) and Dokuz Sekiz. The songs are slinky, eerie funk/psych/jazz hybrid that marries Temiz‘ impeccable chops as a percussionist to a lute-like Turkish saz and some truly otherworldly sounding Moog riffing. They're both purely instrumental and almost appear to borrow elements from Brazilian music and in particular Tropicalia, though the melody is clearly …
The Third Summer of Love
*300 copies limited edition* I turned on the radio and it was tuned to five hundred twenty eight Hz. Love hurts, said the DJ. He was a bit of a dick but I lingered with it. Experts have confirmed that the love frequency can increase cell viability by twenty per cent, he said. Experts have confirmed that it can decrease the toxic effects of ethanol by a percentage that may be unfathomable. To this I raised a glass of ethanol. Five two eight is the key to all mythologies, said the DJ. It’s the rea…
Sunda School
Tapes & Nikolaienko get comfortable behind an organ. These two manage to sneak along some shit of their own though – a bag of sharp rocks to cut perfect tape loops & round ones to play the keys with. The four vignettes on this 7” paint a picture both blissful & threatening. Take “Countryside Emergency” with its loosely galloping rhythm-loop & alarming arpeggiated keys. All this might end with someone getting thrown into a fire. If it wasn't for “Jaaksoni Tamm” to smooth the situation with an inv…
