Brunhild Ferrari returns to the scene with this new solo album. Extérieur Jour is comprised of two previously unreleased electroacoustic compositions – the first, a piece of cinéma pour l’oreille, a movie for the ears, and the second, a meditation on the loss and reappearance of memory and silence, recorded in various places across the globe over a period of 15 years.
"The Shipwreck Bag Show are Roberto Bertacchini (Starfuckers, Sinistri) and Xabier Iriondo. Survivors in the ocean of pop, refugees in a land without time with their suitcases full of metal, wood and electronic circuits. Avant-garage-rock with no time nor borders."
2 sides of bent frown jazz from the hardcore supergroup of Lorenz, Yeh and Jewell. Side a comes on all fifth dimension hard think: violin scrunch and squeal, hard tom rub and dense harmonic blowing pushed right to the front of your brain box, jams a frantic fanfare with locked horn and strings before giving in with a wheeze and a tinkle. Side b's call and answer shies away as fragments fragment into bowed skin, seesaw string microtone and rasped mouthpiece until spunk rock free jizz looseness ex…

"On the night between the 1st and 2nd of April 2001, after a period of increasing fatigue, feebleness and shortness of breath, I understood that the reason must be bad function of the heart. I felt dizzy and my heart was beating irregularly, fast and hard. I took a taxi to the hospital Emergency Room. I was in a hospital bed for one week and felt my body slowly lose all its reserve power, while the heart was beating two or three times faster than normal. Numerous medications were administered bu…
Since 2007 Eric Copeland has recorded and released a hand full of LP's and singles and lately has been cranking out the tunes on 7"s via PPM. On his previous three 7" releases "Doo Doo Run b/w "Fundinkdeath", "Puerto Rican b/w "The Eyeball" and "Whorehouse Blues b/w "Guk & UFO's Over Vampire City", Eric has taken and warped pop song ideas and skewed them incredibly, crafting out some very killer tunes. The onslaught continues with Eric's "CAR ALARM" single. Swinging and delayed rhythms make you …

The duo of guitarist/vocalist Matthew Mitchell and producer Bevan Smith (aka Signer) present their release in Type's 7" series. In response to the upcoming self-titled album, they both decided to remix the track "Future Life" under their own solo guise. Bevan takes the track back to an almost skeletal form then builds new melodies and new vocals to create a bizarre, crumbled-up psychedelic monster. Flip over and we are introduced to Matthew Mitchell's Muriel Tsains project who, through a woozy g…
Tip! Benjamin Bennett has worked as an improvising percussionist for 10 years, touring North America and Europe as a soloist, in various ensembles, and ad-hoc collaborations. He developed a unique approach to percussion which took the lineage of free-jazz, free-improvisation, Berlin reductionism, and extended technique playing as its foundation. In searching for an expanded sonic palette, and more fluid movement between various techniques, he distilled the drumset into a small collection of drum…

On the B side, a more tongue-in-cheek take on East African dictator's advice and other field recording madness. Recorded by Gonzo in Kampala, 2016.
A double 7-inch brings together four sonic meditations of Aymeric de Tapol in all its amateur spiritualism. As his third release with Ångstrom Records, it acts as a strange mirror that bends the sense of what drone & continuous music might be. Each track opens an alternate door that invites us toward the experimental ephemeralism of Aymeric de Tapol’s idiosyncratic reveries.
The Family Men’s ABSC / Dogpound is a raw, limited-edition 7-inch vinyl single released via Harmful Records in a run of 200 copies. It features two blistering tracks of weirdo Amphetamine Reptile-style rock from the Gothenburg experimental noise-rock band.
Wendy & Luke is a project that involves veteran German musician Albert Oehlen and younger French artist Luke Calzonetti. On the programmatic 'Tony Conrad' they make use of electric violin on the first side and explore more improvisational territories on the flip.

Within the expanding territories of electroacoustic investigation and field recording archaeology, Éric La Casa and Jérôme Noetinger present Off Tracks, a profound meditation on absence, decay, and the spectral traces left behind in emptied architectural spaces via Erstwhile Records. This collaboration between two masters of contemporary sound art unfolds as "an exploration of buildings emptied of their activities, a crossing of spaces abandoned by their occupants, a drift through the ghostly tr…

Greek composer Anastassis Philippakopoulos has been a member of the Wandelweiser composers collective since 2003. He pursues his own compositional style to create a new kind of tonal music, deeply associated with his individuality and the surroundings of his life in Athens, a unique blend of stoic minimalism, the warm colors of modern romanticism, and the introspective depth of Zen.
"For many years I have concentrated my attention on modal monophonic melodies. In my pieces I want to bring a bala…
