Improviser/composer Hiroyuki Ura, sculptor Kenichi Kanazawa, and classical pianist Satoko Inoue released two CDs on the Meenna label in 2017, and the three artists are united again in Hermits. The only thing I had to do is make the music for it. So here it is. It turned out a bit dramatic, stylistically, with desolate fog horn like swells and faint electronic rumblings. It's all quite sombre, but with all the horrible conflicts in the world today, what else could I do?"
