The included are the intimate liner notes by Brunhild Ferrari and Otomo, and a 10 minute CD-Extra edition of live video clip slow landing, produced by studio Malaparte, as a bonus track for the initial pre…

Presque Rien Avec Luc Ferrari
RESTOCKED The first DVD release on Elica is a beautiful 50-minute portrait of composer Luc Ferrari made by his friend Jacqueline Caux with Olivier Pascal, which is fully informative and acutely representative of Ferrari's spirit. Featuring Elise Caron, as Luc Ferrari and herself, and Luc Ferrari, as himself only, going through archive documentation, intriguing dialogues, invented autobiographies, music performances, evocative installations, sidewalk accidents, encounters with sound-sculptor Chri…
Brigitte Fontaine
A fantastic album by this enigmatic French singer -- one of her first truly experimental albums! The record differs from some of her other albums quite a bit -- and has a very strange mix of styles that go from straight ahead (only a track or two), to wildly experimental. Although longtime partner Areski did contribute to this album, the record also features work by Saravah labelmate Jacques Higelin, plus French jazz players like Georges Arvanitas and Philippe Mate. Great stuff all 'round, and t…
Matrix

Ryoji is constantly touring as part of the Japanese performance group Dumb Type, who are shortly to undertake a tour of Japan, and also as a solo artist.
Marie-Antoinette is not dead
Crystal transparent 7' vinyl encrusted with white sprayings, numbered and stamped edition limited to 470 copies. Stunning collaboration between four entities who all left an indelible track in various spheres and in different eras, such as Jac berrocal, a mythical figure, improvisator in his music and his encounters, a visionary poet and avant garde trumpeter who went against the grain in jazz and punk, amongst others, and his associate Jack Belsen, a virtuoso with the machines, guitarist and in…
Keio Line
An incredible collaboration that sweeps across the generations of electronic music. Richard Pinhas is internationally recognized as one of France's major experimental musicians: the 'father' of French electronic music. He was the founder of Heldon, a band whose violent fusion of electronics and guitar in the 70s rivalled the German electronic school. As a guitar player he has been compared to Robert Fripp. Cited as an influence by many electronic musicians, Richard Pinhas has helped to define th…
La nuit est au courant
The fabulous "La nuit est au courant", documenting a rare tour by an extraordinary quartet featuring enfants terribles Jac Berrocal (trumpet) and Jacques Thollot (drums), with bassists Francis Marmande and Hubertus Biermann. Long out of print
Tenga Nina
This album is somewhat a departure for French drummer Jacques Thollot. Gone are the uncompromising free jazz experiments of the 60s and 70s - but not forgotten. He is clearly able to channel them in order to profit a more structured environment which betrays a renewed interest for the melody. The set features a core quartet comprised of pianist Tony Hymas, guitarist Noël Akchoté, and bassist Claude Tchamitchian, with special guests trumpeter Henry Lowther on a couple of tracks, and Thollot's dau…
Cellule 75
Back in stock: Irreverent, psychosexual and always fascinating, Ferrari's work manifests itself in texts, instrumental textures, electroacoustic compositions, reportings, films, theatre, etc. It is an honor for Tzadik to release two of his most important works from the 1970s, recorded under the supervision of the composer himself. 'Place des Abbesses,' the first electro acoustic portrait work realized at his home studio in Paris, 1977, is an evocative portrait of a small square between The Sacre…
Test Pattern
Following dataplex cd (raster-noton, r-n068), test pattern is the second audio release in Ryoji Ikeda's multimedia project datamatics; an ongoing exploration of the potential to perceive the invisible multiÐsubstance of data that permeates our world. test pattern acts as a system that converts any type of data (text, sounds, photos and movies) into barcode patterns and binary patterns of 0s and 1s. through the conversion of raw data into digital audio files, ikeda enables us to listen to the flo…
It\'s always rock'n'roll vol.2
One of their best work, released as double LP in 1975 by the French electronic band led by RICHARD PINHAS: If you're looking for really uncompromising and rough music - this is it. Very neurotic and tough, driving electronic drones all over, this is music not for the faint-hearted! It's quite aggressive stuff, usually very alien sounding, with cold and abstract synthetic drive. If you like sweet twittering music for relaxation, you will probably have a heart attack when listening to this.

Mila's journey inspired by a dream
Performed (Arp synthesizer) and recorded by Eliane Radigue; Robert Ashley, English voice; Lama Kunga Rinpoche, Tibetan voice.
