Momentum
Agitation Free was one of the leading representatives of German experimental rock music in the early 1970s. From the end of 1967, the Berlin band developed long instrumental improvisations that were unusually free for the time. They achieved cult status as early as 1972 with an independent mixture of improvised rock paired with electro, ethno, jazz and trance elements. Extensive live activities made the band increasingly well-known throughout Europe. In the summer of 1972, the group appeared in …
Reflections on the Future
An expanded 2xCD of the legendary, sole album by a heavy psychedelic krautrock group Twenty Sixty Six And Then, originally released by United Artists in 1972. The first platter is an exact repress of the original album, while CD #2 contains all other (previously unissued) material that the group recorded in the early '70s.
Zühn Wöhl Ünsaï - Live 1974
"This really makes for an excellent companion record with their live BBC 1974 - Londres album. The London sessions were recorded about a month after this Radio Bremen recording from Germany and feature the exact same lineup. Nice thing too is that only one track is featured on both albums, that being Theusz Hamtaahk. The lineup here features Vander on drums, Top on bass, Blasquiz on vocals, Olmos on guitar and Graillier and Bikialo on keyboards. Sort of a stripped down line-up I suppose with Ste…
River of Return
The long lost album 'River Of Return' of the German Krautrock legend Agitation Free. It was a reunion of the band after 25 years of abstinence with some original members.  Already the first sounds show that the Krautrock style still exists, but the music and the production is light years ahead, which is reflected in the very mature production. As on the early albums, the quartet consisting of Gustl Lütjens, Michael Günther, Lutz Ulbrich and Burghard Rausch offers a mixture of different styles. T…
Live '74 [At the Cliffs of River Rhine]
Agitation Free was one of the leading representatives of German experimental rock music in the early 1970s and was one of Berlin's most interesting bands under Ash Ra Temple and Tangerine Dream. The recordings on this vinyl were taken from a live radio concert of WDR / Germany, Cologne on February 2, 1974. The bonus track Big Fuzz was recorded in Moers on February 16, 1972.
Last, Fragments & Live '74
When the band Agitation Free came together in 1967 as a result of the merging of two Berlin rock groups, one of the most interesting groups in a dawning independent German music scene was created. With their improvisations between rock, jazz and new music, Agitation Free - soon relegated to the not so flattering category of 'Krautrock' - made musical forays into areas that few of their fellow German musicians had ever penetrated. At a time when most in Germany were still orienting themsel…
