Regarded by collectors of Anatolian rock as The Daddy of all Turkish rarities, this instrumental record from 1973 has to be heard to believed and even then it’s unbelievable. Either these guys had time machines or DJ Kool Herc had secret Eastern connections. Ten tracks of swinging hybrid grooves that run from blues to jazz to folk to soul to kraut, Latin, African and beyond. Rare grooves, indeed.
Nature Unveiled
Nature Unveiled is Current 93's seminal first album. It's been returned to its original format of two tracks, and has been beautifully re-mastered by Denis Blackham. This reissue comes with a booklet with early photographs of the group members-- who included David Tibet, Steven Stapleton (Nurse With Wound), John Balance (Coil), and Little Annie-- and original insert materials.

No guitars and fuck two-second gaps. A collection of six 7"s (Gutter Splint, Fortune b/w The Eyes Of Men, Epistasis, Vacuum, Vanishing Point, and the split with Agathocles). Performed by CHARLIE MUMMA, CORYDON RONNAU, JOHN WIESE. The only band to make a Milton and a Mentors reference on the same album. Typically I think noisecore is best in small blasts, but for those who can't find or play the records, this collection is still pretty terse, don't worry.

Tomoko Sauvage: water, porcelain bowls, hydrophones, condenser mics, metal wire and wood spoons. These recordings were made as part of a proposed file-sharing collaboration with Austrian sound artist Helmut Schfer. The recordings were abandoned after Schfer's death in April 2007 but largely due to his original interest and enthusiasm, newly-recorded sections were added, with the final edits and mix completed later that year.
