** 2022 stock ** 17 Re is the third studio album by Italian New Wave band Litfiba, released by I.R.A. Records in December 1986. Although little known outside Italy, It is still considered by many to be Litfiba's stylistic masterpiece. It is part, with the previous Desaparecido (1985) and the following Litfiba 3 (1988), of the so-called "trilogy of power".

Initially released as a double album (in France it was released as a single), 17 Re is distinguished by the presence of four sides and sixteen tracks, all original compositions of the Florentine band formed by Antonio Aiazzi, Ringo De Palma, Gianni Maroccolo, Piero Pelù and Federico Renzulli and Francesco Magnelli. The arrangements of all the songs on the album were taken care of by Litfiba with the help of Francesco Magnelli with a variety of sounds and effects based on the content of the songs, all elements that make 17 Re not only a new wave album but also post-punk, psychedelic and rock. The studio recording sessions took place in the summer/autumn of 1986 in Florence, but the songs had previously been broken down by the band in live concerts.

The album takes its title from the title track, 17 Re (17 Kings), which was not released because it was considered unconvincing and not up to the musical standards of the other songs on the album. However, the lyrics of this song were partially printed on the album cover.
