Diapositive ("Slides") is exactly what a library album called that ought to be: short cues for slide presentations and industrial films, each a self-contained image, by Massimo Guantini, a Roman composer whose work for small publishers has surfaced only slowly. Guitar, keyboards, some electronics, a procession of moods in two-minute frames.
Loneos was one of the micro-labels of the Italian library trade and its records were pressed in the low hundreds for distribution to production houses. A record for the completist and for the listener who enjoys hearing a whole world implied in ninety seconds.
