LP version. This is the first vinyl edition of the self-titled debut mini-album by the Italian band Kannonau, issued on CDr in 2005 and never reprinted. It comes with two new tracks recorded in 2021.
The new pieces, Chapter One and Chapter Two, fill side A and were the band's first new material in about 14 years. Side B holds the five original tracks, from Respice Finem to L'Eterna Donna. The music comes out of classic neofolk, neoclassical and post-industrial traditions, with acoustic instruments, synthesizers, ritual percussion, strong male vocals and female backing voices.
Limited edition of 100 copies on black vinyl with a hand-numbered sticker. Steinklang Industries, 2022.
