Fritz Hauser, the Basel percussionist who has spent a lifetime exploring the drum and the room around it, built Laboratorio as a cycle of six pieces, from Uno to Sei, for about an hour of music. He composed, conceived, played and produced everything himself.
The six parts run from just over five minutes to over sixteen. Notes by Hauser, Andy Hamilton and Quintus Miller, mastered by Peter Pfister. Released by Hat Art in its hat[now]ART series in 2018.
