Sebastien Borgo, Alan Courtis, Frank De Quengo, Nicolas Marmin are L’autopsie and they just discovered the Musique Acouscousmatique as you will see on the poster inside the LP. Anyway here’s another great mix of post-industrial and shamanistic noises cut into 41 tracks. 200 copies art edition LP with stamped labels and sleeve, poster and inserts. “L'autopsie a révélé que la mort était due à l'autopsie is a musical projet that started back in 2007. The four musicians of L'autopsie... were first gathered around Damo Suzuki for a memorable performance in Roubaix (Northern France), 2004. The project has a very strong identity borrowed from Shamanism, Art Brut, Medical references as well as Literature. The music is radical, experimental and improvised : stridency, no-human voices, distortions, strange litanies... all mixed up with a good sense of irony. A first LP came out on vinyl in 2009. It was coproduced by French Labels Komma Null and Chienne Secrète. It's all made up of live recordings from a previous Tour. The package of this LP is made of a beautiful linocut Sleeve and various objects (postcard...). It is sold out. The second Opus "Musica acouscousmatica" (Komma Null / Chienne Secrète, 2010) is obviously a slap in the face for intellectual / jet set / "serious" electroacoustic musicians. The musicians gathered again sound material from previous years' tour, but edited, pasted, cut, made it up, genetically modified... this material to come to a collection of 41 pieces of 1 minute maximum each : Another example of French-Argentinian good taste & Savoir Faire, released on vinyl and fully filled with inserts, stamps, postcards and a wonderful Acouscousmatic Poster.”
