Alejandro Franov

An important figure of the Argentinean acoustic school, his 4th album released in 2004, which is praised as the best album of his career, is now available on vinyl for the first time in the world! The latest release from SRRD label, which has released albums by Motohiko Hamase, Mono Fontana, Edison Natali, Yoshiharu Takeda and others!

Alejandro Franov has been surrounded by music since he was a child, and became a multi-instrumentalist as he should. On this album, he plays a variety of percussion, piano, synthesizer, and sitar. Marco Cabezaz plays marimba, vibraphone, and tabla, and Emiliano Rodrguez (producer) plays guitar. Argentine rock great Luis Alberto Spinetta, a close friend of the band, adds a chorus to the album. The colorful rhythms, lyrical and meditative melodies on this album weave together his Orientalism. It is a work that tickles the listener's curiosity with its familiarity and elusiveness, which is typical of the artist known as the "fairy sound".
