Reinvented Hurdy Gurdy record by French musician Rémy Couvez, who made here something peaceful, contemplative with his instrument, no virtuoso moves, no useless agitation, just beautiful sincere music. The harmonies are really haunting, special. On some tracks, he is backed by synths and percussions. This album could easily rival with Morricone soundtracks. It would appeal to collectors of singular sounds for its minimal, drone music and eastern influences.
