Fockewulf 190 is a Milanese project founded in the early 1980s by keyboardist and conceptual mastermind Victor Life and vocalist Dario Dell'Aere. The band's name references the Second World War fighter aircraft, a provocation typical of an era when Italian post-punk and electronic music often trafficked in militarist imagery as a way of forcing discomfort into the listening experience. Their sound occupies a genuinely singular position: electrodance and Italo disco inflected by an esoteric conceptual framework drawing on Kabbalistic mysticism, what Life himself described as "the force of a psychedelic mind folded into a magic and evocative world." The group achieved a measure of commercial success with two singles, Body Heat and Gitano, which sold around 150,000 copies across Europe and featured collaborations with Fred Ventura, known as "the Voice of Italo." The legendary Dutch DJ I-F called Body Heat a record that "rocks so hard, it's a scandal." Victor Life passed away in early 2014.

This double LP (PPRIP004 / VOD) presents the final chapter of Fockewulf 190's output: a newly recorded studio album paired with a re-edit of the 1986 demo LP In a Room of Memory, completed by the surviving members as a tribute to Life's vision. The music is dense, atmospheric, and strangely moving: synthesizers and sequencers organised around principles that are simultaneously rigorous and ritualistic, dark Italo energy filtered through an esotericism that feels genuinely held rather than performed. Limited to 400 copies in a gatefold sleeve, with a white vinyl version of 99 copies for members.
