All Is Well
*200 copies edition* In its own way the music of British duo brothers Mark and Clive Ives—known creatively as Woo—seemed destined for a digital world that the internet offers. They began making music together decades ago, but it’s only been within the last decade that they’ve started to receive the critical acclaim they rightly deserve. Their music is largely instrumental (though not always the case) and is perhaps the best example of “mood music” I can think of. Occasionally it’s meditative and…

Eyes of The Amaryllis
Debut LP from this new Philadelphia four-piece whose members include Siltbreeze, Blackest Ever Black, Vitrine, Cor Ardens, & Kashual Plastik alumni. With one sought-after tape behind them the band attempt a surreal approximation of nice music. Their general merriment and creative fervour was captured in recordings over a few chance family dinners and channelled through a selection of poorly tuned instruments and detritus. Songs collapsing into abstraction, or vagueness uniting in melody, Sift ca…
Tangerine
Limited LP with insert and postcard. Insert contains Japanese and English lyricssheet, postcard contains artwork by the artists. A Colourful Storm presents Tangerine, a collection of songs by Reiko and Tori Kudo. Recorded at Village Hototoguiss, Japan, in 2011 and 2012 and Cafe Oto, London, in 2009, Tangerine is the result of over thirty years of improvisation and intimacy between Reiko Kudo and Tori Kudo (Maher Shalal Hash Baz, Fushitsusha, Noise, Ché-SHIZU). Their live performances would welco…
Phoney Recs (Tape)
**Edition of 58 copies ** An endearingly crackly lo-fi collection from New Zealander Anthony Milton " Its been a long while since I recorded any music, still been playing but I drowned my last tape recorder crossing a river in the Ruahine Ranges. Discovered that I could record on the old cell phone my mum gave me and so decided to borrow another off a mate and try recording using 2 cellphones.  These were mostly done on an autumn afternoon in 2012. One layer was recorded on my knees in the bush.…
This Fits / This Is Familiar
* Edition of 200 copies. Stamped white labels, postcard attached to the cover, insert * One of the most played albums in the IDDB office of 2015 was Sarah Mary Chadwick's 9 Classic Tracks (Siltbreeze). On this 7" the Melbourne-based artist gives us two tracks from the same session as the new album Roses Always Die which was recently released on Rice Is Nice. Two tracks of just guitar and vocals, stripped down to the bare minimum and driven by an austere ambience.
Future Nature (Tape)
Mike Collino, either with his solo efforts as Dog Lady Island or via the sterling Alien Passengers label, has managed to exemplify the midwestern / Detroit underground milieu of home-tapers & jammers while also carving out a unique niche for himself. There is more than enough room at this table for analog gunk and grime, but a place has been set for refined obscurantism and a more European Fluxus-derived absurdism
HS00 (Tape)
Recorded, mixed and mastered in Silea (TV) by Hampar Soum (duo comprised of Guido Modanese and Stefano Scattolin)
Music for Tape and Spectral / Granular processes (2xTape)

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he studied sound art and art history. His sound practice is informed primarily by the histories and ideas of musique concrete, sound poetry, computer music, electroacoustic music and contemporary composition. Acts of Natura
"The special weather of late spring and early summer…Two friends in a room. A table, the right amount of distortion pedals, appropriate addictives.  This perfect blend pulled out not just a release, but a proper batch of three tapes, full of roaring impetuousnesss and slouching frenzy harsh noise for long afternoons". Francesco Tignola
Selección Magnética, 1982/1996
** 2021 Stock ** Late 20th Century outsider music from the outskirts of Buenos Aires featuring Alan Courtis, Pablo Reche, Quum and many more artists from the Argentinian underground. Setting out as an archaeological excavation, literally exhuming material which has been under the surface for decades this special compilation features work by established and under the radar artists that helped setting the now fertile Argentinian underground. From most of the artists featured here only two, UnoxUno…

Is Dead - Volume One
Paul Chain was a pseudonym first used by the self-taught Italian multi-instrumentalist Paolo Catena in 1977. In 2003 he announced Paul Chain's 'artistic death' and destroyed all the tapes and photos in his possession. No explanation was given. Paul Chain has become a cult figure in the doom metal scene, but his 'purely phoentic' vocals, lo-fi recording techniques, and disregard for genre, will appeal to a far wider audience. With this officially licensed 93-minute double LP the Horn of Plenty si…
Audioregistratore Due Cavalli
Angelo Bignamini and Cristiano Carosi met on the internet in 2017. They arrange a short tour together in the north of Italy at the end of the same year but play for the first time together in Piacenza some years later and "Audioregistratore" is the result of this live collaboration. In that occasion they improvise supported by magnetic tapes, sinthesizers and various objects. The result is a dynamic and well meshed divertissement, a multifaced recordings full of complicity and introspection, pla…
Misure
** Recycled Tape, Xeroxed Art, Limited Edition of 36 Numbered Copies ** In the last few years several italian artists started to go deeper in tape music exploration. That's the case of Rome-based Cristiano Carosi. Misure presents the introspective psychedelic side of it. A collage of different sources such as surreal words, altered voices coming from who knows where, and clumsy synthesis-produced sounds that melt down together in a juicy lo-fi sauce (remarked by the straight-on-cassette recordin…
Schax
**300 copies** The eighth record of the Ukrainian label Muscut bursts into consciousness like a psychedelic van which is flying at all pairs, leaving behind a sultry cloud. Meet the Chillera - new girl-band from Odessa. Three young witches mixed together the berries of surf rock, dub-rhythms ripened on the southern soil and greens of funky ornaments. It sounds juicy, naturalistic, relaxed and, most importantly, fresh. Heady maiden trio plays bluntly, from the heart, unexpurgated spicy dub music …
Lower Hope Reach
Another sublime installment from Dean Brown’s Little Skull. This 5 track 10” moves through minimal, naïve, folk/chamber territory on into darker, more twisted waters. Hand-made covers and inserts featuring three different lino-cut images. Each record comes with three inserts on transparent stock and features one of those images on the cover. Therefore there’s three variations of outer sleeve design. No requests!
Cut A Crooked Track
* Edition of 200 copies. Stamped white labels, postcard attached to the cover, insert * Six new tracks from Mark Anderson and Mark Sadgrove, New Zealanders now based in Japan. Obtuse duo skronk starting out on a fairly reasonable note with 'Scantling' but then slowly deconstructing the song format track by track. The Quemada description of their very underrated 2015 12" makes perfect sense on at least the A-side, "image a Back from the Grave band that was weened on Operation of Sonne and fronted…
Livets Ord
** Limited edition of 300 copies with insert ** From the early days of the found-sounds recordings (like the downright scary Unga Röster album and the hilarious Mandys Bil 7"), the homespun kitchen recordings/tape collages of the still-going Idiotmusik series to the more carefully elaborated and precise Leendet Från Helvetet and Knutna Nävar albums, the massive Livets Ord dropped like a bomb when it originally surfaced as a self-released cassette in 2018. Heavily based on synths and keyboards an…
Seconds Mark III
'Seconds Mark III' is the third iteration of a unique work within the sprawling discography of Alastair Galbraith: poet-dilettante, improvisor extraordinaire and one of the most important figures of New Zealand's storied DIY underground. "Commencing his collaborative musical activities in the early 1980s as part of Flying Nun outfit The Rip (with Jeff Harford and Robbie Muir), it was almost a decade earlier when Galbraith first invested in the violin, an instrument that would accompany him throu…
