Traume

Cycles & Causality
‘Cycles & Causality’ by Trigger is an album containing two tracks that stretch over side A and B. Its musical expression lives somewhere between club music, ambient and musique concrète but refuses to entirely fall into any of these categories – equally fitting on the dance-floor as in in-depth listening sessions at home. Trigger is an audiovisual collaboration between musician/composer Stephan Meidell [NO] and Blank Blank Film (Petri Henriksson [FI] and Carlos Vasques [CO]). Although the music …
Flowers Bloom, Butterflies Come
"Flowers Bloom, Butterflies Come" is the result of a dialog between the stunning Japanese photographer and artist Miho Kajioka and the wonderful UK musicians and composers Ian Hawgood and Craig Tattersall (The Humble Bee), initiated by IIKKI, between August 2019 and January 2021. Born in the United Kingdom, Ian Hawgood spent most of his adult life living in Japan, Italy and Poland. Currently he calls Peacehaven (on the south coast, near Brighton) his home. Since 2009, he’s well-known with his wo…
Apophenia
** 2021 Stock ** Apophenia: the tendency to perceive connections and meaningfulness in random noise, e.g., clouds resembling animals or human faces. Ale Hop’s Apophenia suggests possible and reimagined South American geographies. Along with atomized field recordings and sound samples she recollected from video archives from her homeland, Peru, the composer interweaves unknown territories by mimicking mountains and oceans, but also grey skies and violent cities, with droning and shrieking texture…
Antiqua Graecia
The final instalment of Tasos Stamou’s stunning trilogy of LPs exploring the deep history and culture of his home country, Greece - "Antiqua Graecia" - weaves a startling sense of imagism that intertwines multiple pathways of creativity, culture, and temporality, and presents electroacoustic practice as we’ve rarely heard it before. Issued by a Ikuisuus in a tiny edition of 300 copies, this one isn't to be missed.

Sorgente
Sorgente is the first solo album by the Italian Maestro Devid Ciampalini. Recorded in a period of isolation spent in Garfagnana, a geographical and historical area in Tuscany, between the Apuan Alps and the main chain of the Tuscan Emilian Apennines, Sorgente reflects the nature of his genesis and the shapeless character of the watercourses which inspired it. On the footsteps of itineraries traveled in youth, Devid opens a dialogue between the natural elements of these unspoiled landscapes and t…
Pale Moon
200 copies. Black vinyl in full colour die-cut sleeve. Pale Moon is RM"s third Lp. Prepared, costructed and then deconstructed starting from jams recorded on multitrack using two samplers and various effects units, Pale Moon evokes an imaginary tale of havoc (side A) and desolation (side B). The end isn't written but some hope is still hidden under the ashes of a world which is, at least, finally quiet.
The Kaplan Text
The Kaplan Texts is based on a book Renato produced for the project Acherotipismo by Al Mare (Teatrum Botanicum 2018, PAV, Torino), inspired by the character George Kaplan from Alfred Hitchcock’s film North By Northwest. Sections of the novel were subjected to repeated translational deformations to produce a number of scripts that Double Goocher Shop used to create this text-sound piece. The work is a cracked form of recitation, where character analysis, defamation, and fantasy blur into a ruffl…
Throat Mask
The self-titled debut from Throat Mask collects four improvisations from the duo that are built around random processes and hover constantly between collapse and coalescence. The recording sees Nathan Gray attempt to guide his unruly stack of sputtering and chiming digital automations while T. Kowalski responds with fm, digital and analog synthesis and sparsely gestural midi drums.Side A keeps returning to Gray’s voice, occasionally it’s recognisable but more often it’s faltering or shredded by …

Radiator Music 1969-1974
* Limited to 300 copies. Individually numbered. Digital download included * Between 1969 and 1974, and released here for the first time, acclaimed self-taught artist Mark Beyer made an experimental album that almost no one has heard. Sounding as if pots, pans, pipes and radiators are being played like a piano, in actuality the reel-to-reel tape machine is the instrument. Speeding up and slowing down these tracks, Beyer spent years down this sonic rabbit hole, a hint to his future obsessive pract…
