Taylor Deupree

Taylor Deupree (born 1971) is an American electronic musician, sound artist, photographer, graphic designer and mastering engineer. In 1997 he founded 12k, a label for minimal electronic and acoustic ambient music, which also releases his own records. His albums on 12k include Occur (2001), Stil. (2002) and Shoals (2010). Before 12k, Deupree made techno as Prototype 909, ambient music as Human Mesh Dance and, with Savvas Ysatis, the projects SETI and Futique. In the 1990s he was art director at Instinct Records.
