Mutable Depths
Matt Shoemaker's art focuses upon the treatment of sonic phenomena. Shoemaker manipulates sound, sourced from both natural and electronic means, in an affected and often grotesque manner, so as to convey compositions that uniquely imagine a space encrypted to the point of vanishing definition.

The only thing I had to do is make the music for it. So here it is. It turned out a bit dramatic, stylistically, with desolate fog horn like swells and faint electronic rumblings. It's all quite sombre, but with all the horrible conflicts in the world today, what else could I do?"
