*150 copies limited edition* “Of Grey Grounds” explores an intermediate state, neither alive nor dead, neither fully real nor entirely abstract. The “grey grounds” are conditions of existence shaped by erosion, repetition, and absence. The album moves through inner and cosmic landscapes stripped of identity, where everything is reduced to trace, echo, or residue. Matter loses definition; forms dissolve into a suspended continuum where memory and perception can no longer preserve clear contours. At the same time, the “grey grounds” reflect unrealized possibilities, abandoned paths, and thoughts that continue to return without resolution. Through repetition, these fragments gradually deteriorate.
The more they are recalled, the more indistinct they become, until they lose direction, intention, and recognizable form. Within this condition, the boundary between subject and environment collapses. Memory no longer preserves, but consumes. Thought does not clarify, but slowly erodes what it attempts to retain. Grey becomes the color of mental saturation and neutralization: not darkness, but a dim and diffused light where contrast disappears.
