*100 copies limited edition* Founded by Moreno Daldosso in 1992, Murder Corporation emerged during a crucial transitional period for the Italian industrial underground. The ritualistic and experimental tendencies that had characterized many projects of the 1980s were progressively mutating into harsher territories shaped by power electronics, death industrial, noise extremism and transgressive performance aesthetics. Within this shifting environment, Murder Corporation rapidly developed a distinctive identity based on distorted electronics, degraded tape manipulation, and an atmosphere of profound psychological unease.
One decisive turning point came with the discovery of Discipline by Throbbing Gristle, a work that strongly influenced his approach to industrial music. Other important references included Merzbow, Boyd Rice, William Bennett and Kevin Tomkins. In the project’s earliest phase, Daldosso worked mainly with tapes, and noises, later expanding the sound palette through the use of sampler instruments like the Akai S700 and a VCO tone generator. This production methodology contributed directly to the harsh and unstable character of the music, combining layered distortion, fragmented sound sources and heavily processed electronics.
The cassette underground contributed significantly to the circulation of the project during the 1990s. Through the Murder Release label, operated by Moreno Daldosso himself, Murder Corporation circulated within the international network of tape trading and industrial fanzines that characterized that period. Releases such as Victims, Lager and Atrocity helped define the identity of the project within the European industrial underground.
The connection with Slaughter Productions represented another important moment in the evolution of Murder Corporation. Run by Marco Corbelli of Atrax Morgue, the label became one of the main reference points for death industrial and extreme noise during the 1990s. Within this context, Disturbance appeared in 1995 on Slaughter Productions (SPT43), establishing itself as one of the most uncompromising recordings in the Murder Corporation discography. The album unfolds through overlapping screams, distorted electronics, dense noise layers and oppressive atmospheres, moving continuously between abstraction and confrontation while generating a persistent sensation of tension and sensory overload. More than three decades later, Eighth Tower Records reissues the work in a remastered edition that preserves intact its devastating power of sensory assault.
