Sapevano Solo Uccidere
*2022 stock* Angelo F. Lavagnino  wrote scores for all kinds of films: documentaries, historical films, comedies and westerns. For this film he composed a compelling soundtrack performed by just a few instruments such as organ, percussion, and piano, but for the melody of the gang of "Mexicans" the author brought in a large orchestra. We were able to use each and every note found on the original mono master tapes for this CD.

For this particular story (Edith, a young jewish girl locked up in a nazi prison camp, after assuming the new identity as Nicole becomes a ”Kapo”, a prisoner’s guard working for the Germans) M°Rustichelli has written a symphonic score based on a classic style adagio for harpsichord (the instrument …

Instead of revived dead, these zombies are the result of radiation poiso…
Sputtering And Distorted - A Reluctant History Of The Butte County Free Music Society (Book)
Hidden but not forgotten, hinted at through piecemeal reference after the fact, the creative efforts of the members of this West-Coast-centric cadre of art mutants first took shape in the early 1980s in Chico, California, home to a state university infamous for its alcohol-embracing student body. Twenty-five years later, in 2009 to be exact, Induced Music Spasticity, the 4xLP boxest of unheard home-made four-track recordings of tape experiments, electronic improv, spoken word, live recordings, p…

From disenchanted Catholic schoolgirl and glam maniac to instigator on the 1980s hardcore punk scene, Nancy Barile discovered freedom at a time when punk music was new and dangerous. She made her place behind the boards and right in the front row as insurgents such as SSD, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys and Black Flag wrote new rules and made history. She survived punk riots and urban decay, ran the streets with outcasts, and ultimately found true love as she fought for fairness and fou…

Frälst! A Selection Of Swedish Christian Grooves 1969-1979
This collection presents some of the best and unique music that could be found on rare records released by the Swedish Christian communities between 1969-1979. Between doubt and faith, there was way out pop, gospel, funk, rock and psychedelic sounds with wah-wah fuzz guitars and conga rhythms. The common determinator: to spread the Christian message through music. Several of these cuts are from ultra-rare records that are known only to collectors, while others are from records so obscure that on…

Amici Miei (Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film)
*2022 stock* This CD contains the soundtrack of one of the masterpieces of Italian cinema, "Amici miei", directed in 1975 by Mario Monicelli. The soundtrack was written by Carlo Rustichelli, one of the greatest composers of film music. It is built around the main theme, a waltz, and its variations. The jokes of the protagonsti are underlined by a theme that seems to recall Brecht, as well as the famous "Bella figlia dell'amore".
L’Ultimo Treno della Notte
"L'Ultimo Treno della Notte" (Last Stop on the Night Train) is a 1975 thriller film directed by Aldo Lado, one of the most violent movies ever produced in Italy in the '70s (and beyond) that actually shows, even in the crudest scenes, for same admission of the director, a harsh attack against the bourgeois society and its powerful rich people. Despite the limited budget, the friendship between Aldo Lado and composer Ennio Morricone made this collaboration possible; nonetheless, only a 45rpm 7" w…
Beat Vol. 2 - Lounge At Cinevox
*2022 stock* "After testing the waters with the solid but unexceptional Lounge at Cinevox: Beat, Vol. 1, Cinevox upped the ante with this more interesting second volume. Lounge at Cinevox: Beat, Vol. 2 has the edge on its predecessor because it boasts a more adventurous set of selections. This combination of factors is apparent from the first cut, a wild slab of psychedelic funk entitled "4 Mosche Di Velluto Grigio (Titoli)": After leaping out the speakers with a jazzy drum intro, this cut then …

Non Ho Sonno (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
"Non ho sonno isn’t exactly a return to the glory days of Suspiria and Roller, but it’s very good, and is worthy of purchase before most of the 1980’s soundtracks. Though Goblin managed to hold on to the 1970’s sound even on most of their 1980’s work, this album sounds much more like the 1980’s than the 1970’s or 1990’s, especially the guitar. As far as opening themes go, “Non Ho Sonno” is good. That basically goes for the rest of the music too. It’s all very good, but not as unique and special …
Schock (Transfert-Suspence-Hypnos)
*2022 stock* Back in '76 or so, Mario Bava wanted in on some of Argento's azione in the film music department. For his movies, Dario had enlisted some homegrown twentysomethings fresh from sessions in England as an outfit alternately called Oliver and Cherry Five. The quartet, rechristened Goblin, had cranked up their amplifiers to score Dario's two very popular films, the bloody Profondo Rosso and the supernaturally-inclined Suspiria. Bava wanted the same kind of sonorous edge for his next fora…
Cherry Five

In the original vinyl Simonetti and Morante were included as authors of the songs but not as performers. The record in question is a rarity today, sought…
Tenebre
The soundtrack to Dario Argento’s 1982 giallo was written and performed by Claudio Simonetti, Fabio Pignatelli, and Massimo Morante – three musicians from Goblin’s initial lineup who were responsible for some of that band’s most memorable work. But by this point, only one of the three was still in the band; Fabio Pignatelli. In the years before Tenebrae, Goblin had changed hands and the band of old was no more.At the request of Argento, these three musicians got back together to give it one more…

Milano Trema: la Polizia Vuole Giustizia
"Milano trema:la polizia vuole giustizia" (aka “The violent professionals”) directed by Sergio Martino in 1973. The movie is placet in a violent Milan where in tangible way the alarming and fool of fears mood reigns that characterized life in the big Italian cities in the so called “Anni di piombo”(“Lead years”). Percussioni In Crescendo
Killer. Edition of 300 copies, black vinyl 180gr. At the end of the '60s in Italy - but also abroad, especially in France and England - a very particular trend began to spread, that one known as 'Library music' or 'sonorization': as suggested by its name, those were real music libraries intended for the accompaniment of audiovisual productions such as television programs, advertisements, documentaries and films. Since they were created in total artistic freedom condition, they are often difficul…
