Eins Und Zwei Und Drei Und Vier 2 - Deutsche Experimentelle Pop-Musik 1978-87
For their second foray into the fringes of German pop, Bureau B delve deeper than before, raiding cassette culture, 7" obscurities and overlooked album cuts to further frame this free-thinking strain of sonic expression. Starting the count from punk’s year zero, this set sees a newly liberated generation get weird and wild with anything they could lay their hands on, delivering demented, detuned and disorienting tracks brimming with DIY spirit.
Con-Struct
The German pioneer of electronic music Conrad Schnitzler (1937-2011) amassed a vast archive of sounds for use in combination with each other in live performances. In 2011 the idea came up of con-structing new compositions, not remixes, from this material. The Con-Struct series was born. This release features con-structions by Baal & Mortimer who writes about it in the linernotes: It was exciting to break open existing material, peeling something out of the past and thus transgressing it and open…

The track Pas Attendre was part of the soundtrack of Wim Wender’s movie Der Himmel über Berlin and thus becam…

He became the singer of the joint project Liaisons Dangereuses and lent his unmistakable voice to the band's big hit ("Los Niños Del Parque"). Voices
*Limited edition of 200 copies.* Involving electric drone music; static backgrounds surrounded by occasional field recordings, distortions, hums, metallic sounds, gongs, Tibetan bowls with subliminal oriental suggestions. Compositions that are sometimes coloured or guided by short, deep, hypnotic melodic phrasings of electric guitar, hints of slide guitar, pounding piano notes, or violated by sudden modulations of sibilant electronic waves alternating with bombastic electric pulsations; chaotic …
Il Ritorno Degli Inverni Freddi
*Limited edition of 200 copies.* Eight 'watercolours' of 'classic' ambient music with nuanced and delicate hues... Eight touching instrumental 'landscapes' painted through soft and sober sonorities, barely whispered melodies, an ever-changing play of light and shadow with a flavour as hypnotic as it is relaxing. A continuous observation of the surrounding landscape through swaying leaves and windswept tree foliage, catching and capturing in the apparent stillness every little movement, every ele…

ATOO allows them to expand their musical horizons and release their music more expediently. The original ATOO was born out of 2020's virus state where both OYC members were left working in isolation. Antimateria
*50 handnumbered Editions on blue 135g Vinyl* Maurizio Bianchi is one of the founders of early industrial and noise music and should be familiar to most. For Antimateria he contributed two brand new, merging pieces in which he approaches the theme through sounds of luminescent and rushing keyboard clusters. Coalminer establishes several harsh noise tracks, for which they collaborated with the most diverse artists of the genre, from different countries. With the help of Toshiji Mikawa (Japan, Fou…
Empires
*Limited edition of 200 copies.* A research on possible timbral encounters between percussion and electric guitar, aimed to make them indistinguishable. A sound force that generates dimensions and worlds, where the dramaturgical narration does not necessarily have to be present, since the sound itself already tells and describes. The form take second placet in favor of the timbre, that outlines unknown languages, fantastic machines, microorganisms, alien vegetation with new and curious colors an…

A major new work from Émile Zener, recorded in his Barcelona studio in early 2023, Contraluz spends three engrossing hours submerged in the acrid soil, salty water, speculative financial markets, and submarine consciousness of Earth as it finds itself in …
Palsecam
Tip! True to form, Andrea Borghi works directly with VHS tapes and the apparatus that plays them, manipulating the exposed mechanisms with the care and curiosity of a dedicated scientist. Drawing from these manual manipulations, Borghi's experiments combine mechanical sounds with mangled tape samples to inspire a mechanised nostalgia inseparably hybridised with human trace. Unlike others who work with old film, he resists the eerie to focus on the intricate crunch and buzz, an electro-acoustic s…
Oeuvres Complètes
Violet Vinyl Edition. 40th-anniversary edition. Korpses Katatonik was a musical solo project of Zoe DeWitt during the years 1982 and 1983. Unlike DeWitt's later project Zero Kama, the work of Korpses Katatonik remains entirely within the realm of electronic music and shows an uncompromising experimental style comparable to that of other industrial bands like Coil, Throbbing Gristle, SPK, or Cabaret Voltaire. Like many other exponents of industrial culture Korpses Katatonik was inspired by dark p…

Queen Of Siam
Editions of 500. Queen of Siam, Lydia Lunch's solo debut, was originally recorded in 1980. Featuring the noted talents of guitarist Robert Quine (Lou Reed, the Voidoids), multi-instrumentalist Pat Irwin (B-52's, Eight Eyed Spy), and the big band sound orchestra of Billy VerPlack (of Flintstones theme fame), the work proved to be a slap in the face to those critics awaiting a new Teenage Jesus-type of album from Lunch. Dirty, sophisticated, literary and raw, the album is today seen as the jewel i…
Live 1977-1979
Teenage Jesus and the Jerks began to formulate their visionary brand of aural catharsis sometime during the first half of 1977, amidst the sordid ruins of a then fully down-and-out Lower Manhattan. The mastermind behind this juggernaut of sonic libertinage was a barely pubescent but world-weary runaway who called herself Lydia Lunch. Influenced strongly by the Marquis de Sade and Henry Miller, Lunch shrewdly decided to graft the existential horror of her own writing onto harsh, atonal music afte…
Teenage Jesus And The Jerks
Editions of 500. During the late 1970s, after No Wave pioneer Lydia Lunch met saxophonist James Chance, she began setting her angry and disjointed poetry to anti-music, founding her ground-breaking band Teenage Jesus and The Jerks with Lunch’s shouted lyrics matched by her non-conventional use of electric guitar. The group’s self-titled debut EP is a fast and furious affair, produced by Robert Quine of the Voidoids/Lou Reed, with future Nick Cave drummer Jim Sclavunos on bass and Bradley Field o…
