This book surveys the final six years of Het Apollohuis, the alternative art space founded by artists Paul and Hélène Panhuysen in 1980 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The rarest volume in the series - printed in only 500 copies, compared to the 1000-1500 print runs of the previous volumes. Housed in a former cigarette factory, Het Apollohuis produced exhibitions, concerts, installations, lectures, and publications concerned with experimental, interdisciplinary, and interactive art. Much of the work was situated at the crossroads of science, art and music by artists such as Esther Ferrer, Boris Nieslony, Arnold Dreyblatt, Phil Niblock, Joe Jones, Jürgen Olbrich, Remko Scha, Jackson MacLow, Anne Tardos, Jaap Blonk, Paul Dutton, J.H. Kocman, Terry Fox, Eric Andersen, Alison Knowles, the Maciunas Ensemble, Goji Hamada, Hideharu Matsueda, Tokihiro Sato and Trimpin. This final volume documents how Het Apollohuis maintained its experimental vision until the very end, when the space was closed in 2001 after their grant was discontinued.

The book includes letters from artists who collaborated with the institution throughout its 21-year history, plus a comprehensive artist reference. During these years, Het Apollohuis continued to function as both exhibition space and publisher, producing artist books, multiples, and recordings that extended the reach of the experimental work presented within its walls. The archive of Het Apollohuis, including audio, text and image documents, is now preserved at ZKM. Published by Het Apollohuis in 2001. An essential document of one of the most important experimental art spaces of the late 20th century.
