*150 copies limited edition* "A Moment Beyond" is the result of a dialogue between Gunnar Smoliansky's photographs (who passed away in 2019) and the composer and musician Danny Clay, initiated by IIKKI, between February 2026 and May 2026.

Danny Clay is a composer who often utilizes classical instruments, open forms, found objects, analog media, and digital errata in his work. He has collaborated with musicians and ensembles throughout the US, including Kronos Quartet, Eighth Blackbird, Third Coast Percussion, Volti, the San Francisco Girls Chorus, Wu Man, Sarah Cahill, Phyllis Chen, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Ensemble Dal Niente, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and others.

10 years after his last solo release on IIKKI ("Stills" IIKKI001), Danny Clay comes back with "A Moment Beyond". A new intimate and out-of-time piece evolving between ambient, chamber music and contemporary music deeply connected to the timelessness and beauty of the Gunnar Smoliansky's photographs.
