Beautiful 1972 library album of evocative romantic music by Simonetti (Sitimo) and Colabianchi (M. Bianchi) on Umiliani's Omicron label. Never re-issued on either LP or CD.

condition (record/cover): VG+ (light surface noise) / VG+ (general wear)

Omicron was one of Piero Umiliani's imprints, and the pseudonyms here (The Seven Pennies, Sitimo, M. Bianchi) belong to his circle. Arie romantiche e descrittive is the mood end of the Sound Work Shop output: romantic and descriptive cues, strings and Rhodes and flute, the material a television editor reached for when the scene needed feeling rather than tension.

It pairs with the Nuove arie romantiche below as two halves of one sentimental project. Original Omicron pressing, low numbers.
