*100 copies limited edition* Carreira's Cross emerges from three intense days of immersive creation and spontaneous interplay between the Portuguese duo Worksite & Workshop — Zé Quintino and Tiago Maduro — recorded on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of July, 2021. In those sessions, the two artists wove together a sonic tapestry where shifting electronic textures met finely detailed field recordings and subtly hypnotic rhythmic patterns. The result is a work that feels at once exploratory and deeply cohesive, a dialogue between structure and instinct, clarity and mystery.

Four years later, Unexplained Sounds Group brings this long-sheltered project into the light with its first CD release, finally revealing a piece that had lingered too long in the shadows of the underground. Carreira's Cross stands as both a document of a moment in time, charged with the immediacy of improvisation, and a timeless journey through layered sound worlds that invite the listener to wander, reflect, and return.
