Revision, Mario Lino Stancati's third release with Unexplained Sounds Group, unveils a captivating series of recordings spanning the years 2017 to 2021. While some of these tracks have graced podcasts and digital compilations, they have never before been available on CD. This extensive body of work illuminates the electronic and concrete music facets of Stancati's artistic journey, complemented by daring explorations into field recordings, vocal anomalies and electronic innovations. “Revision” weaves a mesmerizing tapestry of improvisations and compositions, where beauty and harmony can arise only from the depths of artistic intuition. The absence of formal constraints places Stancati's music in proximity to the pioneering experiments of electronic music visionaries, all the while remaining seamlessly integrated into the chaotic tapestry of modernity that surrounds us.

Mario Lino Stancati, born in Italy in 1981, holds a degree in "Disciplines of the Arts, Music and Theater". He is a versatile artist, known for his roles as an actor, director, playwright, poet, musician, and composer. In 2007, he established the renowned theatre company "Hotel de la Béance". In 2009, he penned the novel-poem "Lo Mal d'Umore" followed by the philosophical anthology "The Thought and the Voice of Philosophers: from Kant to Heidegger" in 2010. In 2014, he crafted the poetic outline "In Equilibrium on Nothing", among other notable works. These literary creations have profoundly shaped his musical journey, which defies categorization within any single genre. Stancati's musical talent extends to film as well.

He composed the evocative soundtrack for Chiara Rigione's 2020 short film, "Orfani Del Sonno", and contributed his musical prowess to the poetry film "The Clapping Tree", filmed and edited by Jutta Pryor in Australia. Stancati also created music for the video maker Camelia Mirescu, and the visual artist Luca Giordana. Notably, Stancati's inaugural official album, "Cross The Desert", was released by Unexplained Sounds Group in 2020. It was followed by his second album, "Vairagya", also released on the same label in 2022. His also music appeared on several compilations of the Unexplained Sounds network of labels such as USG, Eighth Tower Records, ZeroK, further solidifying his position as a noteworthy musician, and composer.
