In 2021 The Weirdo From Another Planet, known to family and friends as The Craven Wizard, announced that he had been dead since 2017. Musicologists, concerned with what would become of the legacy of the polymath artist and winner of the illustrious "World's Saddest Turntablist" prize, sifted through the droves of recordings he left behind. Of the 900+ songs in The Weirdo's archives, the team in charge of the project decided to delete all but 11, which are gathered here. This material serves as a farewell, but also will be an introduction for many who hadn't previously heard the fascinating textural cluster-bombs of this unique artist, whose soul was broadcast to Earth via Omni-Pleiadian Regional 5th-Density Fragmented Entity Reconstitution Center 476.Z, and who was apparently taken from us too soon.

The first half (Disc 1) was described by The Weirdo in emails as "music for people with swarms of slipstream wasps in their skulls." He spoke to friends about his hope that it would "prove that I've given myself completely over to serving the God of Music and all of its demigods/avatars," adding in one text message that "Music needs us to work as its champions on this plane, tirelessly materializing its highest possibilities. Imagine if your cells had decided to stop multiplying in the womb, feeling it was sufficient to form a golf ball of meat. You'd have nowhere near the power you have now. We are Music's cells and must form its full body with everything we have."

The second half (Disc 2) is a stark 180. Largely formless, abstract music described in The Weirdo's pile of napkins covered with writing as "deeper stargate potion," and "the true-true." B/2 contains some of the most personally revealing music by this enigmatic figure, including frank discussions of the mental illness which led to these songs being so incomprehensible and erratic. Many of these songs feature choppy language from multiple sources, strobing bits of disparate sentences until they form new dreamy poetic images. "Flowers," he explained to a Dairy Queen cashier upon completion of the album's finale track, "is a tour of my mind. A verbal and textural journey past my external chaos, into the seas of rage and darkness in my gut, which clear away through calming breaths into childlike wonder."
