Riding Photon Time is the first live album by CP Unit, the band of alto saxophonist Chris Pitsiokos. Five tracks were recorded at the Moers Festival in Germany on May 18, 2018, the other three at the Unlimited festival in Wels, Austria.

The line-up is Pitsiokos on alto saxophone and electronics, Sam Lisabeth on electric guitar, Henry Fraser on electric bass and Jason Nazary on drums and electronics. The set mixes pieces from the band's studio albums with two compositions never recorded in the studio. Pitsiokos writes his tunes as scenarios rather than finished designs, starting points that the four take somewhere different every night, and the live album was a way to catch that.
