Starmaker Machine is a double CD by the current CP Unit: Chris Pitsiokos on alto saxophone, Marta Warelis on synthesizer, Dan Peter Sundland on electric bass and Luca Marini on drums. Four studio takes were recorded by Adam Asnan in Berlin on October 26, 2025; the other three tracks come from a concert at Peppi Guggenheim in Berlin on April 4, 2026, recorded by Daren Stieglitz, who also introduces the band.

The notes spell out the idea. In a world besieged by information, storytelling and dramatic dualities no longer convince, so the music gives up beginnings and endings, focal points, tension and release, dominant and tonic, orchestration, and keeps a continuous flow of interdependent decisions, with a lot happening at once.
