*80 copies limited edition* I often went for walks in the Colonster woods; I always found the place quite mysterious, both in its light and its soundscapes. These soundscapes evolve as you walk through the woods, passing through its lights and fir forests crisscrossed by streams that guide you along the paths. For many months, I returned to this site, without necessarily having any expectation or goal other than to record improvisation sessions and soundscapes. For this project, I wanted to work with the sounds and objects found on the site, with a focus on « sound filming ».
"Composing with recorded sounds means lucidly deploying a whole strategy that shapes identities both during the recording process—the sound filming itself—and during the composition, in order to give form to what, paradoxically and constantly, will remain without apparent form but will take shape in your composition, animated by those invisible threads that hold every true image together and give it life." — Lionel Marchetti
