Alessandro Alessandroni is the whistle on Per un pugno di dollari and the guitar twang on most of the Leone films, the leader of the I Cantori Moderni choir and, in parallel, one of the most prolific library composers in Rome. Voci e suoni d'Italia on Deneb is his regional-Italy album, folk-derived melodies for voices, guitar and small ensemble intended as background for documentaries about the provinces, with the choir he ran doing the wordless vocals.

It is gentler than his experimental library work and shows the melodist behind the sound effects. Deneb was the label that also issued Iacoucci, Tommasi and Daniela Casa, and its records are uniformly scarce. Original pressing.
