Joined by Michael Francis Duch on double bass, Pisaro-Liu sculpts each movement with an acute sensitivity to timbre and pause, offering listeners a space where minute changes gain emotional gravity. “Within (2)” focuses on solo instrument resonance, shaping an hour-long meditation on overtones and presence, while “Appearance (2)” draws out conversational interplay, shaping an austere yet deeply human dialogue between guitar and bass.
