Original edition on Brain of the colossal 1978 double album of overwhelming "orchestral" synthesizer music by the Berlin school master. NWW list.

condition (records/cover): NM / VG (general wear)

Gatefold sleeve with book stapled in.

X (1978) is Klaus Schulze's grand statement, a double album of six long pieces he called musical biographies, each named for a figure who haunted him, from Nietzsche to Frank Herbert. Here the sequencers run beside a real orchestra and the ambition turns frankly symphonic.

It reads as a summary of everything he had built across the decade, the Berlin School scaled up to the dimensions of a concert hall. The Brain pressing.
