Long-running Scottish act Cindytalk have transformed numerous times throughout their existence, going from industrial post-punk to electronic noise with an ever-shifting lineup. Now, the group will be compiling their recent recordings in Of Ghosts And Buildings on Japanese label Remodel.

The music for The Spiral was first created as soundscapes to a multimedia spatial installation (with the same title) initiated and curated by last oblivion in spring 2019. The installation took place at Basement, Copenhagen april 2019 and was open for 7 days with events and happenings specifically curated for each evening. The music was released on tape by Amatör Kassetter in september same year and later released on vinyl by Förlag för Fri Musik 04/18/2020.

Elliott Sharps's release on Erototox Decodings is no different in terms of his ongoing homage to science, entitled 'Phlogiston', aptly named after a substance supposed by 18th-century chemists to exist in all combustible bodies, and to be released in combustion. It’s also his first purely electronic and synthesized record to date.
