Live at the Hope and Anchor Recorded on November 22nd, 1977
This set consists of an entire show at the Hope and Anchor pub in Islington, North London, recorded on 22 November 1977. This particular concert took place on the opening night of the "Front Row Festival", a series of shows by regulars of the venue during 1977. Snappy Turns
Debut solo album for Alternative Tv frontman and long-time running Uk punk scenester, originally released in 1980 on Deptford Fun City Records. Mark Perry was also the man behind the iconic Sniffin' Glue zine, founded in July 1976. The album was produced by Grant Showbiz, principally known for his work with The Fall, The Smiths and Billy Bragg, and it is literally an art-rock nugget. Sort of an autobiographical work, the record is full of twisted hooks, showing the dark side of post-punk. Less h…
Liederbuch
LP version. When the Welttraumforscher (world dream explorer) started their journey on July 14, 1981, it was not foreseeable that it would last so long. For over 40 years now, Christian Pfluger from Zurich has been working with drawings, texts and songs on the idiosyncratic and fascinating universe of the imaginary trio. This has resulted in numerous cassettes, LP and CD releases. Most recently, a two-part retrospective was released in the spring of 2021 on Hamburg's Bureau B (, giving an insigh…

Shoot And Crucify
The third tape on the fledgling Cold Spring label, 'Shoot And Crucify' was released back in 1988 in an edition of just 50 copies (CS003). It features some of the very earliest works of many now-influential and essential Industrial / Noise / Experimental artists. The 'scene' at the time was built on the mail-art network, exchanging an explosion of ideas, sounds and art around the world via the (then very cheap) postal system. Just a handful of these 19 tracks have since been reissued, but the vas…
Vini Reilly

Across “Vini Reilly,” the album captures the essence of Vini’s distinctive musical language: shimmering guitar textures, luminous melodic shapes, and a sense of space that invites the listener to slow…
Hansten Klork
Originally released in 1980 and long regarded as one of the most avant‑garde statements of its era, Hansten Klork captures Metabolist at the intersection of post‑punk restlessness and uncompromising experimentalism. The album’s stark textures, motoric rhythms, and hypnotic minimalism reveal a band equally indebted to kraut‑rock repetition, post‑industrial atmospheres, and the austere clarity of minimalism—creating a distinct, unsettling sound that still sounds contemporary today. This reissue re…
17 Re
Tip! 17 Re is the third studio album by Italian New Wave band Litfiba, released by I.R.A. Records in December 1986. Although little known outside Italy, It is still considered by many to be Litfiba's stylistic masterpiece. It is part, with the previous Desaparecido (1985) and the following Litfiba 3 (1988), of the so-called "trilogy of power".Initially released as a double album (in France it was released as a single), 17 Re is distinguished by the presence of four sides and sixteen tracks, all …
Delusions
On Delusions, Corpusse turns late‑’80s Montreal into a one‑man gothic fever dream, declaiming like a punk Rasputin over blaring Korg/organ dirges that feel equal parts dungeon synth, suicide note and cracked rock‑and‑roll theatre.

The Alternative Counter Organization
Taco weaponise the very idea of “tako” - octopus, kite, bunion, drunk, bald head - into a mutating post‑punk organism, a rotating guerrilla cell whose songs behave like incidents rather than compositions.

On Wa Wave: New Wave Sounds from the Land of the Rising Sun vol. 2, various Japanese artists push deeper into the margins of 80s New Wave, blending Kraut‑tinted repetition, minimal synth, and glass‑fragile chamber pop into a set of tracks that feel like dispatches from a parallel underground.
Wa Wave: New Wave Sounds from the Land of the Rising Sun vol. 1
On Wa Wave: New Wave Sounds from the Land of the Rising Sun vol. 1, various Japanese artists are rescued from flexi‑disc oblivion, weaving a sharp, off‑kilter panorama of New Wave, No Wave and skeletal electronics from the most radical corners of Japan’s underground.
Romancing The Music
On Romancing The Music, Hip-See-Kid reanimates Japanese New Wave as a jittery, neon‑lit fever dream: punk‑funk basslines, soul‑scarred melodies and splashy jazz inflections squeezed into a compact mini‑LP that feels like a lost 80s club classic beamed into the present.

The Missing Boys - Selection Of Sardinian Wave 1980-1989
*2026 stock* “The Missing Boys” is a film born from the need to tell the story of the emergence and affirmation of a forgotten music scene, like much of the youth movement that spread in metropolitan areas as well as in the provinces more than forty years ago, dealing with the same critical issues of everywhere. It’s a story of mostly unknown bands, who from Sardinia, especially from Cagliari and Sassari, interrupt the blissful isolation of an island, only apparently distant from that revolution…
Smoke Time
Blurt was founded in Stroud, UK, in 1979 as part of the post-punk movement by poet, saxophonist und puppeteer Ted Milton along with Milton's brother Jake, formerly of psychedelic group Quintessence, on drums and Peter Creese on guitar. Shortly thereafter Jake …
Prehistory
Some 42 years after its initial release, Circle X’s Prehistory returns to the vinyl format. New listeners to this music will discover, in addition to the roiling compulsion in its odd, dance-damaged clockwork and instinctive joining of feral and aestheticized values, a refined understanding of the width andbreadth of “post-punk” music, both in and out of its time. In and out of time, Circle X operated between 1978 and 1995, formed in Louisville, KY, but existing largely as a New York-based colle…
