Slowdown Records will release a box of six new Merzbow albums. The box "Fantail Vision" consists of six new Merzbow albums from 2020-2022: "Mukogenerator","Mukomodulator", "Mukotronics", "Hinawave", "Animal Mukomodulator", "Magnetic Rain". 

The recordings include not only recordings that are being released for the first time, but also some that have been digitally distributed on Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Merzbow has released five original albums on Slowdown Records to date, "Kaoscitron", "Indigo Dada", "Kaerutope", "雀色1", and "雀色2" (these albums were released in the "2017-2020"), this box is the perfect collection of records to get a sense of Merzbow's currentstate, both in terms of time period and sound following it.

Details of each piece are as follows

Disc 1: "Mukogenerator" is the original version of the tracks that was digitally distributed on Merzbow's Soundcloud; the Soundcloud version was compressed for audition purposes, so this is a high-quality version.
Disc 2: "Mukomodulator" is an album with additional material from the digital release in 2021 on the Italian label Superpang. The song titles are different from those on the Superpang release, as the original titles were used at the time of production.
Disc 3: "Mukotronics" is the original version of the tracks that was digitally distributed on Merzbow's Soundcloud. This album is included additional song. The Soundcloud version was compressed for audition purposes, so this is a high-quality version.
Disc 4: "Hinawave" is included another mix of "hinawave #1" from the compilation album "Mutants Mixtape" Vol. 6, which was developed and released on Arca's Discord server.
Disc 5: "Animal Matiere" is a new album recorded in 2022. It contains songs not included on the album "Animal Liberation - Until Every Cage Is Empty" released in 2022 on Cold Spring.
Disc 6: "Magnetic Rain" is a new work recorded in 2022.
