Black Leather Jesus, the Houston harsh noise project Richard Ramirez started in 1989, on a white 8" lathe cut: two sides of almost seven minutes, Washed and Waiting, recorded in Pennsylvania in March 2026. Thirty numbered copies.

8" lathe cut, limited to 30 hand-numbered copies. Black Leather Jesus was founded in Houston in 1989 by Richard Ramirez, one of the first American projects to take up the harsh noise that was coming out of the Japanese underground, and later counted among the inventors of harsh noise wall. Its imagery has always come from gay leather culture, and Washed And Waiting keeps faith with it: leather jackets and bare skin on the sleeve, a field of inverted crosses inside.

Two sides of almost seven minutes each, Washed and Waiting, recorded at Chestnut Ridge Foothills, Pennsylvania, in March 2026 and cut on white vinyl.
