Anthony Moore

*2025 stock, Japanese reissue!* Slap Happy's Anthony Moore released the album Flying Doesn't Help in 1979 under the name A. More, following the treasured Out album (1976). In this album, he creates a musical landscape that is at once elaborate and intimate, stark, beautiful, emotional and slightly dangerous. In Flying Descent Help, he has created a cult masterpiece, presenting a singer-songwriter with a thorny art-punk production, a departure from the high-quality pop song collection Out, which has folk-rock as its fundamental quality. The band builds a dense forest of sound, filled with sharp, avant-garde shards and delicate vocals. It's a special piece of work that reveals itself a little more each time it is played.
