These 18 tracks, characterized by their incisive guitar solos, prominent flute and excellent songwriting, are progressive rock at its very best. One of the Genre's true masterworks. Stylistically it is heavy progressive rock, blending the tension of King Crimson, the organ and guitar sounds of Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, and the dynamics of early Jethro Tull. The dark, memorable and usually very intensive music was superbly played and driven by a flute, mellotron and Hammond organ passages, some heavy guitars, complex drumming and fine vocals.
