Another Gisteri record, this time a themed library album on the ancient world, with Rino De Filippi sharing the credit with Santany, a pseudonym that has resisted identification. The brief was documentary music for the Greeks and Romans, and the response is a mixture of modal guitar and flute cues, percussion that gestures at antiquity, and electronic passages that make the Colosseum sound like a spaceship.
Italian library music's habit of treating history as science fiction is on full display. Edimerc pressing, scarce.
