Great album with three excellent electro-acoustic pieces by the Dutch composer realized between 1972 and 1984 and released on Composers' Voice in 1988.

Three significant works from Boerman’s electronic oeuvre: Kompositie 1972: An electronic tape composition using the Golden Ratio to determine formal proportions and sound structures. Kompositie 1979: An "orthodox" tape piece, this work returned to pure electronic synthesis after Boerman’s brief experimentation with live sound in 1976. Ontketening II: Composed in 1984 for percussion, electronics, and tape, this work was written for the ensemble Het Nieuwe Leven and features prominent metal instruments.
