This meticulously curated black box set represents the definitive collection of Monte Cazazza's groundbreaking recordings from 1979 to 1991, capturing the San Francisco-based pioneer during his most prolific period following his seminal mid-1970s work that helped shape the entire industrial music movement.

Monte Cazazza (1949-2023) was the creative force who literally named industrial music, working closely with Genesis P-Orridge, Cosey Fanni Tutti, and the Industrial Records collective while building an underground reputation as a volatile performer with a dangerous and antisocial aesthetic. His experimental sound manipulation and noise collages, described by Re/Search Magazine's Industrial Culture Handbook as "insanity-outbreaks thinly disguised as art events," influenced countless artists including Psychic TV and Factrix, with whom he frequently collaborated. During this formative period, Cazazza also recorded soundtracks for Mark Pauline and Survival Research Laboratories while remaining heavily involved in the Mail art movement.

The limited edition box set includes multiple LPs featuring remastered recordings spanning Cazazza's creative evolution from his post-Industrial Records period through 1991, an exclusive grey Monte Cazazza T-shirt, a numbered certificate of authenticity, and the 220-page book Monte Cazazza - I'll be famous when I'm dead, housed in a separate compartment at the bottom of the box. The comprehensive book offers rare insights into the artist's creative process, featuring photographs and writings that document his journey from the shocking performance art pieces that got him expelled from the California College of Arts and Crafts to his later collaborative work with partner Meri St. Mary.

This collection captures Cazazza's work during a crucial transition period when his raw experimental approach matured while maintaining the confrontational edge that made him legendary. Each LP has been carefully remastered to preserve the sonic innovation and intensity that defined his output, while the packaging reflects his uncompromising aesthetic vision. Much of Cazazza's early work was considered virtually impossible to find until The Grey Area of Mute collected some pieces for The Worst of Monte Cazazza in 1992, making this comprehensive box set an unprecedented archive of his creative output.

This deluxe box set represents a rare opportunity to own the complete Monte Cazazza experience documenting industrial music's foundational years, with each copy individually numbered making this both an essential musical document and a collectible artifact.
